How Your Premiere Custom Book of Shadows is Created
Each Premiere Custom Book of Shadows requires four full weeks to create from start to finish.
This time is essential – it ensures that every book receives the level of craftsmanship, detail, and magickal intention that defines my work. No step is rushed. Every phase is deliberate.

Creation Process
1. Printing the Magickal Pages
Your book begins with the pages themselves. I print each one on heavy parchment style paper – the same quality used for certificates and diplomas. This gives the book its ancient luxurious feel and ensures durability for years to come.
2. Preparing & Stacking the Book
Once printed, the pages are sorted, arranged, and “stacked” in the exact order they will appear once bound. This layout process is meticulous, ensuring the flow of spells, information, and journal pages feels natural and intentional.
3. Hand-Sewn Binding
After the pages are aligned, I punch the sewing holes along the spine edge and stitch the entire text block by hand.
4. Constructing the Cover
Next, I cut and shape the boards that will become the front and back covers. These are carefully attached to the sewn pages along the spine – a step that requires precision and patience.
5. Wrapping the Cover in Fabric or Leather
The final structural phase is the covering. I cut the chosen fabric or leather, adhere it to the boards, and finish the inside with matching endpages. This step must be executed flawlessly to ensure the book opens smoothly, sits correctly, and remains strong for years of use. Any misalignment here can affect the entire book, so I take great care to get it right.
6. Embellishment & Final Touches
The process starts with printing the magickal pages on heavy weight parchment paper, the kind certificates and diplomas are printed on.
7. Completion, Photo & Shipment
When your book is finished, I take a few photos and send them to you so you can see your completed grimoire before it ships. After a quick confirmation by text or email, I package your book securely and prepare it for delivery.
